November 2009 Least Costly Vehicles
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
All car companies advertise that their vehicle is the least expepensive and largest for it’s class. The folks over at Edmunds have worked the numbers and figured out the five year actual ownership costs. This list is comprehensive, broken down by body type and price point within each body type. American made Sedans and SUVs are doing well while import coupes and wagons seem to be the most affordable in their categories. Suprisingly the Honda Insight is the least costly hybrid, putting more pressure on the already uneasy Toyota Prius – the most popular hybrid.
