Illinois drivers unaware of variances, because they don’t compare rates

In recent study, Quotepro market research team, a Midwest division conducted a survey with over 2700 drivers during January 2009. The Quotepro results showed that most of the Illinois drivers are not aware of how their insurance rates vary.
Over 75% participants in this survey thought that car insurance comparison policies, do not vary by no more than $280 in a 6 month period. In fact almost 70% of drivers who were surveyed in state of Illinois did not contact their insurance agent to obtain their auto insurance rate information for over 2 years.
