Q. Is Quotepro.com affiliated with any Agency, Insurance company or other Insurance organization?
No, Quotepro.com is an independently owned and operated company. We only have customer relationships. We are a technology provider that does not have any investors from within the insurance industry or any other industry, and we are not affiliated with any agency.
The data is stored on OUR OWN purpose built servers.
Each agency owns their data. Quotepro.com will have a contractual obligation stating that we will not ever become a competitor, sell or disclose in any manner any data in the agency database.
Q. Who has access to the data?
The agency has total control over who has access to their data. If the agency is having a software problem they may have to grant to employees of Quotepro.com temporary access to solve any problem. All Quotepro.com employees are contractually committed to the confidentiality of the agency’s data.
Q. Can Insurance Companies access my data?
No – Carriers have no access to your data.
Q. Can I have my data sent to my office on a regular basis?
Quotepro.com will offer a service that will provide copies of the database to the agencies that subscribed to this service.
Q. How confidential is my data?
Quotepro.com will be contractually bound to the highest level of confidentiality and privacy obligations.
Quotepro.com has a state of the art facility with firewalls, anti-virus and anti-hacker protection in place.
Q. How often will backups occur?
Complete database backups occur on a daily basis and then transfered off site for maximum protection.
Quotepro.com currently has placed an automated facility for you to order MVR’s directly from the Illinois Department Motor Vehicles. This is a real time process with the MVR returned immediately and all of the violations are shown. The State does charge for this service (approximately $12.00 per MVR) and there will be an additional service fee for each MVR ordered.
Q. Will this integrate with an agency management system that is not part of Quotepro.com?
Quotepro.com will work with the agency to provide an interface to other agency management systems. Our technology allows for industry standard interfaces to be designed with most of the agency management systems available.
