In 2012, Land of Lincoln Health was given a $160 million loan from the federal government to create a new health insurance organization. This new organization, a Consumer Operated and Oriented Plan (CO-OP), was formed as a company governed by its customers and the decisions that are made are to improve services for them.
Land of Lincoln stands alone as the first new mutual health insurance company to be licensed in Illinois in more that 25 years. They enrolled over 50,000 lives for 2015, which was quite a fete, and QuotePro was able to help enroll lives while allowing them to stay insured by offering digital enrollment & payment options.
QuotePro was able to add immediate value to Land of Lincoln’s program. Drawing QuotePro implemented a payment portal that allowed LLH’s members to effectuate their policy with a down payment from either the Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) or through 3rd party brokers. Members as well as customer service representatives can make/accept monthly payments through LLH’s payment portal. Additionally, automation of individual enrollments and automation of group enrollments were implemented by integrating with LLH’s third party administrator (TPA) to offer a seamless customer experience.
